Royal Huisman's Anakena arrives in Hong Kong

August 30, 2011

The 1996 centreboard ketch, Anakena, launched by Dutch custom sailing yacht specialist Royal Huisman, has arrived for a stay in Hong Kong, with likely plans to remain in Hong Kong till the spring of 2012, according to Bart Kimman of Asia Yacht Services, who is managing her stay. Anakena was designed by Fontaine Design Group for an experienced owner who wanted to be able to travel long distances unassisted. She has been reinforced for ice. Her interior is in all-teak paneling and features fine wood sculpturing.

Kimman and his firm, Asia Yacht Services, are a member of the Asia Pacific Superyacht network, which provides shore and logistical support for superyacht visits to the Asia Pacific.
